Reflecting on Liberalism: A Personal Perspective
From Principle to Practice: A 28-minute Journey through Liberal Ideas
Five years ago, I gave an interview to the Greek chapter of Students for Liberty, at the Athens National Garden. I enjoyed the discussion with my former student, Themis Sakellariou, who was the chapter coordinator at the time. I had the opportunity to clarify my views on many issues and to define the kind of liberal I was and still am: someone who wants to maximize personal autonomy and freedom in all areas of life (individual, political, social, economic), not only for himself but for everyone else.
So if you are interested in my version of liberalism, watch this 28 min. video (Greek with English subtitles). For more, you can read my short introduction to liberalism or a collection of essays on applied liberalism. Both are written in Greek, but I promise that I will do my best to find the time to write a medium sized book in English one day, explaining some of these ideas.
Themis Sakellariou is now Growth Director of B&K Agency, a public affairs agency based in Milan and Brussels, and curator of Generation Ukraine, a business and creative community for Ukrainian women.
